June 22-26 rising second- and third-graders. 8:30- a.m.-12:30 p.m.  This is a free camp for all area kids who have experienced grief or loss, even if your family has not received hospice care. It's an outstanding program with certified counselors. Kids get to play together and learn skills to deal with their grief. Please help us spread the word. An application is required, as well as an advance meeting with a counselor, the child and parent/guardian.

Across from the entrance lobby of the Dr. Robert M Fales Hospice Pavilion, these impressive ceramic tile murals are the vision of local artist Gayle Tustin. She wanted to provide public art that also represents and celebrates a person’s life. The mural was originally commissioned by architect Ligon Flynn, and inspired by French painter Henri Matisse’s cutout techniques.
