An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until January 3, 2022
Delight in a forest of festively decorated trees set against the magnificent aquatic backdrop of the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Nov. 26 through Jan. 3. The festival is open during aquarium hours and is free with admission to the venue (closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day). Tickets can be purchased in advance on the aquarium’s website.
Note: Aquarium admission tickets are only available for purchase beginning 3 to 4 weeks prior to the date for which you want to attend. If you are trying to purchase earlier than 3 to 4 weeks out from the date, the site will show them as unavailable.
This is one of the area’s longest running and favorite holiday traditions. Proceeds benefit Lower Cape Fear LifeCare’s mission to provide care and support to individuals and families in our community living with a life-limiting illness. Funds go to work in our community immediately ensuring no one is ever refused care based on their ability to pay.
Tree sponsorships are currently available for businesses and individuals. Volunteers are sought to help decorate tress, and to greet and assist guests during the festival. Sponsorship information is available by calling 910-796-7900, or you can download the sponsorship form. Those interested in volunteering can contact volunteer coordinator Jenny Todd at Jenny.Todd@lifecare.org.
Cape Fear Festival of Trees is a great way to get in the holiday spirit, find decorating inspiration for your own home, or entertain children on holiday break or out-of-town guests. It’s sure to delight ALL ages.
