A workshop to help you develop coping skills during the holiday season
Lower Cape Fear LifeCare will offer a no-cost virtual grief care workshop, Hope for the Holidays, for those coping with the death of a loved one and anticipating the holiday season. It will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, 1 – 2:30 p.m. in a secure virtual environment. Pre-registration is required; to register, email Bereavement@LifeCare.org with your name, phone number, and the name and date of the program you wish to attend. “Hope for the Holidays is a workshop for those who have lost a loved one and are anticipating the holiday season,” said Melissa Rogers, Lower Cape Fear LifeCare bereavement counselor. “The workshop will offer suggestions for coping with holiday grief and creating new traditions.”
Most of us have loved and lost special people in our lives and we understand that coping with grief is a challenging process. If you and/or your friends and family are having difficulty dealing with the loss of a loved one, we are here to help.
Throughout the year, we offer compassionate care, educational and enrichment opportunities that support many types of loss in safe and familiar environments. Because of our generous donors, these caring, no cost groups, camps and workshops are available to all. Your donation is always appreciated.
