Lower Cape Fear LifeCare will offer a no-cost virtual grief care workshop for those coping with the death of a loved one during the holidays on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 2-3:30 p.m.
Hope for the Holidays is a workshop for those who have lost a loved one and are anticipating the holiday season. The workshop will offer suggestions for coping with holiday grief and creating new traditions.
The workshop will be hosted in a secure virtual environment. Pre-registration is required; for more information and to register, call Diane Miller at 910-515-6386, or email Diane.Miller@lifecare.org. When leaving a message, please provide your name, phone number, and the name and date of the program you wish to attend. A grief counselor will contact you.
Most of us have loved and lost special people in our lives and we understand that coping with grief is a challenging process. If you or your friends and family are having difficulty dealing with the loss of a loved one, Lower Cape Fear LifeCare (formerly Lower Cape Fear Hospice) is here to help. Throughout the year, we offer compassionate care, educational and enrichment opportunities that support many types of loss in safe and familiar environments. Because of our generous donors, this caring, no cost workshop is available to anyone in our community who has lost a loved one. Your donation is always appreciated.
