Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Rated a Five-Star Hospice by Medicare
On August 27, Medicare officially updated its Care Compare website, and Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is now recognized as a five-star hospice.
This honor is not about numbers. It comes from the voices of families who shared their experiences months after their loved ones received our care. Through the CAHPS Hospice Survey, families told Medicare that they felt supported, respected, and cared for during life’s most challenging moments. Only 8% of hospices nationwide earn this distinction.

We are celebrating this milestone in our 45th year of serving our community, caring for patients and families across nine counties in North Carolina and South Carolina.
