Cape Fear Festival of Trees is one of the area’s oldest and favorite holiday traditions – be a part of the magic!
Once again at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, this year’s festival will run from Friday, Nov. 26 until Monday, Jan. 3, open all hours and days as the aquarium (Sun-Sat 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Christmas Day).
Admission to the aquarium is all you need to delight in a forest of festively decorated trees disbursed throughout the wildlife and aquatic exhibits of the aquarium. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
The festival is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit, get tree-trimming ideas of your own, or entertain kids on holiday break or out-of-town visitors.
Sponsors are currently being sought for this year’s festival.
Gather your team and create a one-of-a-kind holiday masterpiece to share with visitors while ensuring care for those in our community. All proceeds from this year’s Cape Fear Festival of Trees benefit Lower Cape Fear LifeCare’s mission to provide individuals and families in our community living with serious and life-limiting illness with the care and support they need when they need it most. These funds will go to work immediately in our community. To get information about sponsoring a tree, call 910-796-7900. Download the sponsorship form.
Calling all elves!
